Help Portrait

After listening to This Week In Photography (TWIP) episode last week (Thanksgiving week) I learned about an organization called Help Portrait. It seems to have been started within the last year or so with the goal to give something back to the local community but is actually on a global scale. Last year there was something like 3700 photographers world wide that provided portraits to those in need. Many had not had a portrait or family picture for years. I joined two local groups from the southern Maryland/DC area and plan on participating on December 4th. Really looking forward to it!
